7th Grade Social Studies
This course will continue with the study of Ancient Cultures and follow the development of European and Asian history to to dawn of the modern age around the year 1500.
10th Grade English
This course was designed to evaluate students' skills in the areas of characterization, conflict, figurative language, citing evidence, author's purpose, irony, cause and effect, theme, and identifying main ideas.
Spanish 1
This Spanish 1 course is divided into 9 thematic units centered around a theme that pertains to the student's personal life.
In each of these courses you will find exemplar units. These units have gone through an extensive creation/revision process and have been evaluated and modified using the Course Design Guide (found under OBC Resources). These units have incorporated all four anchors of the OBC. For the other units in the course, you will find materials to support a blended environment, but not to the level of content and organization found in the exemplar units. OBC Courses are continually being updated and modified to enhance the content. You will have direct access to these updates as they happen.
